About Me

I started writing as a teenager, but discarded most of my early efforts because they just weren't good enough.

I thought the words were supposed to drip from my pen as golden, perfectly shaped pearls. Then I discovered rewriting.

I've been writing (and rewriting) ever since.  I'm as yet unpublished, but am represented by the fabulous Alison J. Picard.

In addition to super-sexy women's fiction, my writing credits include:
  • Rose City Sisters Flash Fiction
  • Boob Stories anthology
  • LARA Confidential newsletter
  • Short Shorts, a short story/poetry anthology,
  • four years as columnist in The Working Title, a monthly literary publication,
  • six years as editor/contributor to Hoofbeats, a monthly equine newsletter,
  • occasional op-ed pieces in the Los Angeles Times, and
  • several first place finishes in local writing contests.

Oh, I also have a story in this anthology:

    Five Minute Love Stories
Born in Wisconsin, my teenage years were split between small-town Pennsylvania, and Southern California.  I now live in Los Angeles with numerous UFO's (UnFinished craft & writing Objects) and my beloved fat cat, Metaphor (aka Stinky.)

I'm a current member of RWA, LARA, SheWritesSoCal Lady Bloggers and WriterUnboxed, and past president of the Glendale-based Alameda Writers Group (AWG.)  I also moderate an  invitation-only fiction critique group.
